Residents are expected not to have a private car. Planning conditions mean that if residents parking permits are ever issued, residents of CoFlats will not be eligible. This is a condition that the CoFlats company suggested so as to minimise congestion.

Transport needs are addressed by 20 secure covered bicycle spaces, 2 shared on site electric cars part powered by the high profile wind turbine and access to 3 more conventional cars parked nearby, run by Stroud Valleys Car Club. The bus station is by the cinema. The train station is an 8 minute walk, direct trains to London take 1 1/2 hours.

Stroud town centre is easily accessible. It is a 3 minute walk to the library, the beginning of the town centre. click here for Location map

There are tarmac cycle paths to Nailsworth Town and Stonehouse along dis-used railway tracks. For walking, there are many public rights of way including the Cotswold Way which is accessible from the canal towpath on the edge of the town centre. Explorer maps 168 and 179 cover the local area.
